Dr. Corinne Waterman
Au.D.
Dr. Waterman grew up in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin, and received her undergraduate degree in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was here where she majored in communication sciences and disorders and developed a true passion for audiology.
Shortly after, she attended Central Michigan University (CMU) where she received her doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) and graduated with honors.
To further develop her knowledge, she completed her externship in Detroit, MI at the Michigan Ear Institute and went on to work with a range of patients at a non-profit clinic in Chicago, IL.
During her time there, she specialized in pediatrics and educational audiology and soon after joined the Audiology Associates team in 2011.
Combining Fourteen years of knowledge and experience, Dr. Waterman is an extremely talented addition to our growing team. From treating hearing loss and balance disorders to cochlear implants and newborn hearing screenings, Dr. Waterman loves helping patients and the independent work atmosphere at Audiology Associates.
A memorable moment for Dr. Waterman was when she helped a patient with Meniere’s disease who was wearing hearing aids and not benefiting from them.
After lots of persuasion, she convinced him to get cochlear implants and his life changed significantly.
“He feels more confident in his job and every time he talks to me about it, he starts to cry and is so glad he finally went through with it.”
Aside from bringing patients to tears, she enjoys spending time with her four kids and two basset hounds. Her favorite thing to do is to travel and explore new places, which she is in desperate need of right now!
