Hearing aid technology is always evolving and changing as advances in technology are made.

In this episode, I talk about the most recent advances being made with hearing aids and what we can expect in the future. Tune in now!

Never without a Charge

Most, if not all, hearing aids are now rechargeable. For the last several years, hearing aids have been manufactured with lithium-ion batteries that allow them to last for a full 24 hours.

Older batteries used to only last 10 or 12 hours, which was substantial, but these new devices allow for a full day of wear.

Simply place your hearing aids in their charger while you sleep, and simply wake up in the morning and put them in. That’s it!

The rechargeable nature of new hearing aids is a game changer for convenience and is truly transforming lives.

Always Connected

Bluetooth connectivity is another feature that has been introduced in the last several years. You are able to be fully hands-free by connecting to your iPhone or Android device.

Another feature that is giving people greater ease of use is that you can accept phone calls through your hearing aid device.

But not only will you be able to hear the phone conversation through your hearing aid, they are now also integrating a microphone into the hearing aids. This means that you will not need to have your phone out at all when talking.

This will make it easier than ever to communicate and give you greater convenience!

When you visit our office, we will take care of your hearing healthcare completely. Beginning with a comprehensive hearing exam, we will be able to determine, with your input, the best course of care that is custom-made for you.
