Dr. Kincaid is a Maryland native who grew up in Montgomery County. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Philosophy in Audiology degrees from James Madison University (JMU).
During her time at JMU, Dr. Kincaid completed internships with the University of Virginia Medical Center, the Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center, and a private otolaryngology clinic in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Her doctoral dissertation focused on research into cochlear dead regions and frequency compression hearing aid technology.
Before joining Audiology Associates in 2016, Dr. Kincaid practiced audiology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD, and Hearing HealthCare, Inc. in Rockville, MD.
Holding high standards of professionalism and care, Dr. Kincaid’s role at Audiology Associates involves conducting hearing, tinnitus, and cochlear implant evaluations; fitting and maintaining hearing aids, cochlear implants, and custom earmolds; and counseling and educating patients on the importance of hearing healthcare. Dr. Kincaid also serves as Director of Audiology at Audiology Associates. In this role, she advocates for her patients and her fellow audiologists by assisting the practice owners in policy development and implementation. Dr. Kincaid currently holds a Member-at-Large position on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Academy of Audiology.
Dr. Kincaid is not only a highly experienced and talented Doctor of Audiology, but she is also extremely enthusiastic about helping people to hear their best and developing long-term relationships with her patients. She loves working alongside a team of incredible audiologists and support staff.
Dr. Kincaid is passionate about exceptional and thorough patient care.
She reflects on one example of how she can help new and existing patients at Audiology Associates: “Patients come to me with worries over the performance of their current hearing aids and their concerns about needing new hearing aids. I am able to fully assess the patient’s hearing and hearing aid function using state-of-the-art equipment including Real Ear Measurements. Often the resulting recommendation is an adjustment or modification to existing hearing devices rather than an investment in new technology.” Her patients often express sincere gratitude for her time, expertise, and compassion.
Outside of work, Dr. Kincaid enjoys spending time with her son and husband. As someone who loves the outdoors, she enjoys hiking, biking, and recently began kayaking. During the colder months, you’ll find her cheering for her beloved Washington Football Team or reading in front of a fireplace.
