Dr. Deirdre Courtney of Audiology Associates

Deirdre Courtney

Audiologist – Annapolis Office

Dr. Courtney grew up in Caroll County, Maryland, and received her bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in speech-language pathology and audiology from Towson University in 2010.

Eager to extend her research, she completed her doctorate of audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2014 and joined the team in 2018, taking over our Glen Burnie location following Dr. Rouleau’s retirement.

Dr. Courtney’s role involves looking at audiological assessments across the lifespan, with a specialty in pediatric and amplification fittings to meet the needs of all her patients, young and old.

A standout moment for Dr. Courtney was, “One child I identified and fit with hearing aids had a stellar report from her speech pathologist, teachers, and parents at her first 6-month follow-up. They all noted how much her speech and schoolwork have improved since she is able to hear better.”

When she isn’t in the clinic, Dr. Courtney enjoys adventures with her husband, son, and daughter. She also has a passion for baking and enjoys building beautiful cakes for all of her friends and family.
